The circle reticle carries four positioning points and covers about 32 inches at 100 yards (81 cm at 100 m). Hold “−” three seconds to change reticle; the sight remembers the last one used.

Multi-Reticle System
Hold the “−” button three seconds to step from circle-plus-dot to dot-only to circle-only. One LED draws all three, so your zero never changes.

Solar Failsafe + auto brightness
New on the X3: a forward-facing photodiode reads the target light and sets reticle brightness automatically, while the top solar cell keeps the reticle running if the battery fails.

Red Super LED
A 650 nm red emitter, the traditional reflex-sight color, tuned for up to 100,000 hours on a single CR1632 at setting 6.

Shake Awake
Motion sensor sleeps the reticle after 10 minutes of stillness (1 h, 12 h or off are selectable) and wakes it the instant the pistol moves, at the last setting.

Lockout Mode
Hold “+” three seconds to lock the buttons. A bump in the holster cannot change brightness or reticle until you unlock it.

What is the Holosun HS507C-X3-RD?
The HS507C-X3-RD is the red version of Holosun’s 507C X3, an open-reflex pistol sight with the Multi-Reticle System: a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both. It mounts on the RMR footprint, runs on a side-loading CR1632 backed by a solar cell, and is rated up to 100,000 hours of battery life at setting 6.
What is new on the Holosun 507C X3 vs the 507C X2?
The X3 adds a forward-facing light sensor for true automatic brightness (the X2 only used its solar cell), a slightly larger 0.91 × 0.67 inch window, a reinforced 7075-T6 housing that is a little wider (1.31 in), and Holosun rates the red and green X3 at up to 100,000 hours versus 50,000 on the X2. Brightness moves to 8 daylight and 4 night-vision settings. Lockout Mode, Shake Awake, the side battery tray and the RMR footprint carry over.

How do I switch reticles on the 507C X3?
Hold the “−” button for about three seconds. The optic steps from circle-plus-dot (the default) to dot only, then circle only. The 32 MOA circle covers roughly 32 inches at 100 yards; the 2 MOA dot covers about 2 inches.
How long does the battery last?
Holosun rates the HS507C-X3-RD at up to 100,000 hours at brightness setting 6 on one CR1632. Shake Awake sleeps the reticle after 10 minutes of stillness, and the solar cell takes over in daylight, so real-world life is usually longer than a battery-only sight. The reticle blinks slowly when the battery runs low.
Is the Holosun 507C X3 night-vision compatible?
Yes. It has 12 manual brightness settings: 8 daylight and 4 night-vision. Settings 1–4 are the night-vision levels.
Red, green or gold — which 507C X3 should I get?
Red (HS507C-X3-RD) is the traditional reflex-sight color and the most affordable of the three. Green (HE507C-X3-GR) sits near the wavelength the eye is most sensitive to and is easier to pick up in bright daylight. Gold (HS507C-X3-GD) is Holosun’s high-contrast option for bright targets and busy backgrounds. All three share the same housing, footprint, battery and Multi-Reticle System.
What is Lockout Mode?
Lockout Mode disables the buttons so a holster or gear bag cannot change your brightness or reticle. From Manual mode, hold “+” for three seconds to lock; hold it again to unlock and return to Auto.
Does changing the battery affect zero?
No. The CR1632 loads from a side tray using the included multi-tool, so the optic stays on the slide and keeps its zero. Holosun recommends 5 in-lb on the tray screw.
Is the 507C X3 waterproof?
Yes. It is IP67 rated, tested to 5,000 G of vibration, and has drain holes on both sides of the housing to shed water. Working range is −30 °C to 60 °C.
