The Holosun EPS (Enclosed Pistol Sight) is Holosun’s latest evolution in compact pistol optics, engineered for shooters who demand reliability, durability, and consistent performance from an everyday carry or duty handgun optic. Building on the success of the highly popular Holosun 407 and 507 series, the EPS brings advanced features traditionally found on full-size optics into a compact, pistol-optimized platform.

Holosun earned its reputation by introducing innovative technology to the pistol optics market—features such as multi-reticle capability, Shake Awake™ technology, solar-assisted power redundancy, and automatic brightness adjustment—all in a smaller, more affordable package. The EPS continues that mission, refining those concepts into a rugged, enclosed-emitter design built for real-world use.

The defining feature of the EPS is its fully enclosed emitter system. Unlike open-emitter pistol optics, the enclosed design protects the emitter from dust, debris, moisture, sweat, and environmental contamination that can obscure or interrupt the dot. This ensures the reticle remains clear, crisp, and reliable, even in adverse conditions or during daily concealed carry.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a durable hardcoat anodizing, the EPS balances strength and weight exceptionally well. Weighing approximately 1 ounce, it adds minimal mass to the slide, making it an excellent choice for concealed carry pistols and defensive handguns.

The EPS is powered by a CR1620 battery with up to 50,000 hours of battery life, supplemented by a built-in solar panel for added redundancy. Both automatic and manual brightness adjustment allow the optic to adapt quickly to changing lighting conditions. The 2 MOA red dot offers precise aiming capability for defensive and practical shooting applications.

The Holosun EPS uses the Holosun K-Series footprint and includes an RMR adapter plate, expanding mounting compatibility across many optics-ready pistol platforms.
