This Aero Precision M5E1 .308 Complete Upper Receiver features an 18” fluted barrel machined from 416R stainless steel for long-range precision. This barrel features a reliable rifle-length gas system and a 1:10 twist rate, as well as an A2-style flash hider. Protecting the gas system is the Gen 2 Enhanced EM-15 free float handguard that features M-LOK attachment slots and a continuous picatinny top rail. Fully machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this handguard also features a contoured design for a more comfortable and tactile grip. Additional features are laser engraved T-marks, a scalloped Picatinny rail to reduce weight, and integral anti-rotation tabs.

The M5E1 upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and features an integral handguard mounting section for a highly robust setup. It has a port door and forward assist installed and is compatible with most AR-308 components. The receiver and handguard are Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized black for a sleek and durable finish.
